Tel Aviv, Israel and Fresno, CA – Orbia Netafim, the global leader in sustainable precision irrigation solutions and agricultural projects, announces the appointment of Aubrey Bettencourt as the company's new Global Director of Government Relations and External Affairs.
In this pivotal role, Aubrey will spearhead Netafim's advocacy strategies, initially focusing on the United States and subsequently expanding worldwide. Additionally, her experience in directing sustainability initiatives at Western United Dairies underscores her commitment to driving positive change within the industry.
"Farmers across the globe face a critical period, urgently seeking resources and technologies to withstand the impact of extreme weather, regulatory, and market forces on their crop production. I am honored to join Netafim in meeting those needs by advancing the adoption of precision agriculture solutions," said Bettencourt. "I am passionate about keeping farmers farming, bringing water and food security to an ever-changing world, and protecting the natural resources that we rely on. Netafim and Orbia’s experience, expertise, and commitment make them the global leader in precision irrigation and agriculture. I look forward to taking that voice and leadership to the highest levels."
